New Classes!

It's not the new year yet but we do have two classes coming up in 2009. The first will be a much anticipated repeat of the Beekeeping class offered this year. If you've been waiting to keep bees come to this class. By holding the class in January you should have plenty of time to get things ready to keep bees this year! Here's the info:
Beekeeping
Time: 5:45 PM to 7:45 PM
Location: Greenwood Library
Covering the basics of beekeeping in the city, from getting your bees to extracting honey to getting your hives ready for winter and everything in between. Join us at the Greenwood Library for an into to beekeeping and get started this year!

Also upcoming in March is our Keeping Chickens in the City class. Taking it in March will give you plenty of time to get ready for chickens this spring.
Keeping Chickens in the City
Time: 5:45 PM to 7:45 PM
Location: Montlake Library
Covering the basics of keeping chickens in the city. Includes information on starting with chicks. Come to this class and be ready to get your chickens this spring!
